How the renewal price lock works
Your renewal price is locked at purchase and never goes up.
The guarantee
The renewal price shown when you register or transfer a domain is locked to that order. As long as you keep the domain continuously registered with nameyarn, it renews at that price — or lower, if our catalogue price for the TLD drops in the meantime. It never goes up.
Reminders
We email reminders 30, 14, 7, 3, and 1 day before your card is charged, so there are no surprises. Auto-renew is on by default; you can turn it off any time from the domain's detail page in the panel.
If a renewal fails
A failed charge doesn't cancel the domain immediately. We retry over a short dunning window and email you at each attempt before the domain is allowed to expire.
